About St. Francis Wood

A Distinct Identity

St. Francis Wood is comprised of 561 uniquely designed single family homes on approximately 127 acres and includes a children’s playground, tennis and basketball courts, numerous smaller parklets, and over 7 miles of parkways. Landscape maintenance for the towering eucalyptus trees, lush greenbelts and gorgeous fountain and terraced plaza is managed by the St. Francis Homes Association.

The bustling West Portal commercial corridor is just a few blocks north. Walk down this charming avenue and you'll feel you've gone back in time, only to find all of today's conveniences. A light rail runs through West Portal and the Twin Peaks tunnel to zip commuters downtown.
